Life After Death Experience Of Fr.Jose Maniyangattu

I was born on July 16, 1949 in Kerala, India to my parents, Joseph and Theresa Maniyangat. I am the eldest of seven children: Jose, Mary, Theresa, Lissama, Zachariah, Valsa and Tom.
At the age of fourteen, I entered St. Mary’s minor seminary in Thiruvalla to begin my studies for the priesthood. Four years later I went to St. Joseph’s Pontifical Major Seminary in Alwaye, Kerala to continue my priestly formation. After completing the seven years of Philosophy and Theology I was ordained a priest on January 1, 1975 to serve as a missionary at the Diocese of Thiruvalla.
In 1978 while teaching at the St. Thomas minor seminary in Bathery, I became an active member of the Charismatic Renewal movement and began conducting charismatic retreats and conferences in Kerala.

Angel appears at the moment of Death

On Sunday April 14, 1985, the Feast of the Divine Mercy, I was going to celebrate Mass at a mission church in the north part of Kerala, and I had a fatal accident. I was riding a motorcycle when I was hit head-on by a jeep driven by a man who was intoxicated after a Hindu festival. I was rushed to a hospital about 35 miles away. On the way my soul came out from my body and I experienced death. Immediately I met my Guardian angel. I saw my body and the people who were carrying me to the hospital. I heard them crying and praying for me. At this time my angel told me: “I am going to take you to Heaven, the Lord wants to meet you and talk with you”. He also said that on the way he wanted to show me hell and purgatory.

First, the angel escorted me to hell. It was an awful sight! I saw Satan and the devils, an unquenchable fire of about 2,000 Fahrenheit degrees, worms crawling, people screaming and fighting, others being tortured by demons. The angel told me that all these sufferings were due to unrepented mortal sins. Then, I understood that there are seven degrees of suffering or levels according to the number and kinds of mortal sins committed in their earthly lives. The souls looked very ugly, cruel and horrific. It was a fearful experience. I saw people whom I knew but I am not allowed to reveal their identities. The sins that convicted them were mainly abortion, homosexuality, euthanasia, hatefulness, unforgiveness and sacrilege. The angel told me that if they had repented they would have avoided hell and gone instead to purgatory. I also understood that some people who repent from these sins might be purified on earth through their sufferings. This way they can avoid purgatory and go straight to heaven.
I was surprised when I saw in hell even Priests and Bishops, some of whom I never expected to see. Many of them were there because they had misled the people with false teaching and bad example.

Visit to Purgatory
After the visit to hell, my Guardian angel escorted me to Purgatory. Here too, there are seven degrees of suffering and unquenchable fire. But it is far less intense than hell and there was neither quarreling nor fighting. The main suffering of these souls is their separation from God. Some of those who are in Purgatory committed numerous mortal sins; but they were reconciled with God before their death. Even though these souls are suffering, they enjoy peace and the knowledge that one day they will see God face to face.

Communication with souls in Purgatory
I had a chance to communicate with the souls in Purgatory. They asked me to pray for them and to tell the people to pray for them as well, so they can go to heaven quickly. When we pray for these souls we will receive their gratitude through their prayers and once they enter heaven their prayers become even more meritorious.
It is difficult for me to describe how beautiful my Guardian angel is. He is radiant and bright. He is my constant companion and helps me in all my ministries, especially my healing ministry. I experience his presence everywhere I go and I am grateful for his protection in my daily life.

Visit to Heaven
Next, my angel escorted me to heaven passing through a big dazzling white tunnel. I never experienced this much peace and joy in my life. Then immediately the heaven opened up and I heard the most delightful music, which I never heard before. The angels were singing and praising God. I saw all the saints, especially the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, and many dedicated holy Bishops and Priests who were shining like stars. And when I appeared before the Lord, Jesus told me: “I want you to go back to the world. In your second life you will be an instrument of peace and healing to my people. You will walk in a foreign land and you will speak in a foreign tongue. Everything is possible for you with my grace”. After these words, the Blessed Mother told me: “Do whatever He tells you. I will help you in your ministries”.
Words can not express the beauty of heaven. There we find so much peace and happiness, which exceed a million times our imagination. Our Lord is far more beautiful than any image can convey. His face is radiant and luminous and more beautiful than a thousand rising suns. The pictures we see in the world are only a shadow of His magnificence. The Blessed Mother was next to Jesus; she was so beautiful and radiant. None of the images we see in this world can compare with her real beauty. Heaven is our real home, we are all created to reach heaven and enjoy God forever. Then, I came back to the world with my angel.

Back to Earth
While my body was at the hospital, the doctor completed all examinations and I was pronounced dead. The cause of death was bleeding. My family was notified and since they were far away, the hospital staff decided to move my dead body to the morgue. Because the hospital did not have air conditioners they were concerned that the body would decompose quickly. As they were moving my dead body to the morgue, my soul came back to the body. I felt an excruciating pain because of so many wounds and broken bones. I began to scream and then the people became frightened and ran away screaming. One of them approached the doctor and said: “the dead body is screaming”. The doctor came to examine the body and found that I was alive. So he said: “Father is alive, it is a miracle, take him back to the hospital”.
Now, back at the hospital, they gave me blood transfusions and I was taken to surgery to repair the broken bones. They worked on my lower jaw, ribs, pelvic bone, wrists, and right leg. After two months, I was released from the hospital, but my orthopedic doctor said that I would never walk again. I then said to him: “ the Lord who gave me my life back and sent me back to the world will heal me”. Once at home we were all praying for a miracle. Still after a month and with the casts removed I was not able to move. But one day while praying I felt an extraordinary pain in my pelvic area. After a short while the pain disappeared completely and I heard a voice saying: “You are healed. Get up and walk”. I felt the peace and healing power on my body. I immediately got up and walked. I praised and thanked God for the miracle.

Conversion of the Doctor
I reached my doctor with the news of my healing and he was amazed. He said: “your God is the true God. I must follow your God”. The doctor was Hindu and he asked me to teach him about our Church. After studying the faith, I baptized him and he became Catholic.
Following the message from my Guardian angel, I came to the United States on November 10, 1986 as a missionary Priest. First, I worked in the Diocese of Boise, Idaho from 1987 to 1989 and then became the Director of Prison Ministry in the Diocese of Orlando, Florida from 1989 to 1992.

Mission assigned by Jesus
In 1992, I came to the Diocese of St. Augustine where I was first assigned to St. Matthew's Parish in Jacksonville for two years. I was then appointed Parochial Vicar of Assumption Church from 1994 to 1999. In 1997 I was incardinated as a permanent member of the Diocese. Since June 1999, I have been pastor of St. Mary's Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Macclenny, Florida. I also serve as the Catholic Chaplain for Florida State Prison in Starke, Union Correctional Institution in Raiford and Northeast Florida State Hospital in Macclenny. I am also the Diocesan Spiritual Director of the Legion of Mary.
On the first Saturday of each month I conduct a Eucharistic and charismatic-healing ministry in my Parish, St. Mary Mother of Mercy. People come from all over the diocese, many parts of Florida and even from out of the state. I have been invited to conduct the healing ministry in other major cities of the United States including: New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, San Jose, Dallas, Chicago, Birmingham, Denver, Boise, Idaho Falls, Hawaii, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Poolsville; and many other countries: Ireland, Spain, Czech Republic, India, France, Portugal, Yugoslavia, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Cayman Island, and Ontario.

The Holy Rosary

T he word Rosary means "Crown of Roses". Our Lady has revealed to several people that each time they say a Hail Mary they are giving her a beautiful rose and that each complete Rosary makes her a crown of roses. The rose is the queen of flowers, and so the Rosary is the rose of all devotions and it is therefore the most important one. The Holy Rosary is considered a perfect prayer because within it lies the awesome story of our salvation. With the Rosary in fact we meditate the mysteries of joy, of sorrow and the glory of Jesus and Mary. It's a simple prayer, humble so much like Mary. It's a prayer we can all say together with Her, the Mother of God. With the Hail Mary we invite Her to pray for us. Our Lady always grants our request. She joins Her prayer to ours. Therefore it becomes ever more useful, because what Mary asks She always receives, Jesus can never say no to whatever His Mother asks for. In every apparition, the heavenly Mother has invited us to say the Rosary as a powerful weapon against evil, to bring us to true peace. With your prayer made together with Your heavenly Mother, you can obtain the great gift of bringing about a change of hearts and conversion. Each day, through prayer you can drive away from yourselves and from your homeland many dangers and many evils.
It can seem a repetitive prayer but instead it is like two sweethearts who many times say one another the words: "I love you"...
A devout exercise to perform praying the Rosary to obtain any request is the
"54-days Rosary Novena" in honor of Our Lady of Pompeii. You can find the History of the Rosary reading the Admirable Secret of the Rosary of Saint Louis Grignion de Montfort.

How To Develop Habits

Developing Good Habits

Self Talk
Self talking is the best way in which you can instill any good habit and give up a bad habit. Keep speaking to yourself about the change which you want to see in yourself. Repeat the statements which will help affirm the particular new habit which you want to create a part of your daily life.

Directed Imagination
Another effective way in which you can incorporate a new habit consciously is by imagining yourself performing the action relating to the new habit. Visualize yourself performing the new activity or a role and see how good you sound and look. This visual imaginative role that you will see yourself in, will help you easily make the habit a part of your daily routine.

One Habit For 30 Days
It can so happen that you want to bring about a number of changes in your behavior at a time. In such a case take up a single change that you want to see in yourself and start practicing it daily consciously for 30 days at a stretch. After 30 days you will realize that you no more need to practice the change you want to be because it has now become a habit. After 30 days you can take up the next endeavor.

Use A Trigger
A trigger is a small ritual which you perform before getting used to a habit. A simple habit which you want to inculcate like not watching excess of television, can be triggered by setting a self-timer in the television. The time you want the television to get switched off, set the timer to that time so that the T.V will get switched off, forcing you to engage yourself in something more productive. You can use such small triggers to consciously develop a habit.

Replacement
Replacement is the key word to develop a new habit. In order to remove something from the system without damaging the other files it is necessary to fill in the gap which was created due to the removal of a file. Similarly if you are giving up a habit you need to fill up the free space by a habit that fulfill the same requirement as the old habit. For eg. giving up watching television means you need to find some other relaxation medium for yourself. This approach will make it simpler for you to get used to the change you want to be.

“But” To Kill Bad Thoughts
A prominent habit changing step can be to force out all the negative thoughts from your mind. The moment you think negative about yourself and find yourself incapable of taking a strong stand, use the word ‘but’ and bring in the positive about yourself. This negative positive game will help develop your self-confidence and will make you believe in the change you are going to make.

Write It Down
You can even write down a particular habit in a piece of paper and stick it to a place where it will be visible to you. This will keep reminding you about the commitment you made to your brain and will help you in working towards living that change you wished for.

Keep It Simple
Changing for the good is beneficial both to your personality and to others as well. But, you should keep in mind that changing is a small process and your body and mind should first get used to the new introduction. Therefore, don’t get too harsh on yourself and keep only one or two rules simple rules and not a dozen rules regarding the new habit. Simple rules will help you create habits, whereas complex rules will just put you in a more complex puzzle.

Consistency Is Key
The point of a habit is that it doesn’t require thought. Make sure that your habit is consistently being followed everyday without fail. This consistent performance will drill in the habit in you instead of multiple habits loosely conditioned.

Height increasing methods

whey protein, milk, yoghurt, cheese, and boiled chicken. Your bones need phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium while your muscles need water, protein and carbohydrates to grow. Since you are growing taller, both your muscles and bones are getting bigger and longer. Don't waste your money or your health on drugs, alcohol or cigarettes.

Have the hair style that makes you appear taller. In order to appear taller, a hair style should be thin at the sides and higher up top, which can make you appear as much as an inch taller Avoid clothes with horizontal lines. Belts are horizontal so make sure you conceal it in your clothes.

Avoid clothes with a tartan or checked pattern. Avoid cuffs that makes your legs appear shorter.
• Wear clothes with vertical lines or striping. Vertical lines or stripping make a person appear thinner, and thinness in turn gives impression of more height.
Wear shoes that will make you appear taller. If you are a female, this should be easy since you can find a lot of female shoes with 2 or 3 inches’ heels. For males, wear shoes with thick soles to add the illusion of height.
To increase your height, it is important that your blood is oxygenated as blood provides nourishment to your bones. Regular breathing will also purify your blood. There are three phases to breathing:

1. Inhaling - take in air into your body through the nose 4 seconds

2. Retaining - hold your breath inside your body 3 seconds

3. Exhaling - blow out air from your body through the mouth 12 seconds

It is during deep sleep that growth hormone does its job of thickening and lengthening your bones. So appropriate sleeping time (not the longer, the better) and correct sleeping posture is very important for your body to grow. Sleep is defined as a natural periodic state of rest for the mind and body, in which the eyes usually close and consciousness is completely or partially lost, so that there is a decrease in bodily movement and responsiveness to external stimuli.

During deep sleep, growth hormone produced by your pituitary gland is released into your blood stream and travel through your body and causes the thickening and lengthening of your bones. Therefore, you should achieve "deep level" sleep on a daily basis in order to coordinate your affords of exercises and proper diet. The following are some helpful tips on how to easily achieve deep level sleep.

Sleep in a comfortable and firm mattress.
Sleep in a room that is dark, quiet and fresh smelling.
Sleep with clean, soft, and comfortable clothes.

Keep your hands and feet warm. Scientific studies have shown that warm hands and feet will help induce REM (rapid eye movement) deep sleep. Cold hands and feet will keep you from deep sleep.

Drink a big glass of water before going to bed and when you wake up; this will help clean out your system.

Practice total relaxation and deep breathing for a few minutes before you go to bed.

Relax from head to toe. Close your eyes and relax every part of your body.

Maintain a habit of sleeping at the same time everyday, including weekends.

Sleep on your back with a flat pillow under your knees. This will align your spine properly and prevent any back aches caused by sleeping in a bent position.

Undoubtedly, the quality, quantity, and type of food we eat affect our height, growth, and health. We cannot emphasize enough how important your food intake is in determining how much growth you can possibly obtain. The types of food you eat will either improve or decrease your growth potential.

After careful consideration and research, the daily content of protein, carbohydrates, fats and water can be achieved if the following items were taken regularly.

Carrots Fish Liver

Egg Yolk Beef Red Meat

Milk Cheese Apples

Green Vegetables Potatoes Nuts

Yellow Vegetables Almonds Bananas

Peanuts Chicken Beans

Peas Salt 6-8 glasses of water per day

If you eat a lot of peanut butter, your height will not necessarily stop. Neither does masturbation stop height.
What might stop you from growing is smoking, drugs, alcohol, lack of sleep, stress, digestive problems, or lack of exercise.

How To Gain Height Naturally Through Yoga – 3 Yoga Exercises

For centuries people have used the techniques of yoga to improve their body and overall well-being. Yoga stretches your entire body, and especially your spine, and gives it the balance and strength it needs to grow.

Yoga is a series of fluid movements that centers your body. The focus is to create flexibility while controlling your breath. This flexibility and control helps you with gaining height on mYoga is a series of fluid movements that centers your body.

.Additionally, yoga strengthens your spine which improves your posture. If you want to know how to gain height, you should know that it all begins with good posture.

People have the ability to get a height gain of several inches just by having the correct posture. A spine which is aligned is then prepared to grow longer.

In this article, we will show you how to gain height through three specific yoga exercises. These three vary in degree of difficulty, so that you can start with the grow taller exercise that is best for you.

Sukhasana - The first exercise is called the Sukhasana and it is the “centered” position from which all other yoga moves originate.

It is important that you learn this position because it will help you control your breathing and make you better aware of your body. Furthermore, it tones your lower back and hips, helping the cartilage in those areas to decompress.

You will want to sit on the floor in a cross-legged position, your hands resting on your knees.

Focus on controlling your breathing so that it is deep and at an even pace. Keep your spine perfectly aligned and push your buttocks to the floor and gently lower your knees.

Take several, at least 5, deep breaths and then inhale as you raise your arms upward and over your head. Bring your arms down gently and steadily, exhaling as you do, and then repeat this entire move 5 to 7 times more.
Trikonasana - also called the Triangle, is the second yoga exercise we will discuss. This is slightly more advanced than the Sukhasana.

It will help improve your balance and therefore help you have good posture. Also, it is a very good exercise to use if you want to center yourself and relieve tension.

Trikonasana - Gain Height Through Yoga

To begin, stand up with your legs about 3 to 4 feet apart and your feet parallel to one another.

Then, rotate your left foot 90 degrees to the left and your right foot 45 degrees inward.

Inhale and raise your arms to the side so that they are level and parallel to the floor.

Exhale and turn your head to face down the length of your left arm and check that your left knee is lined up with your left ankle.

Take one deep breath and then stretch towards your left ankle while you tilt your left hip down.

Once you have reached your maximum stretch, rotate your arms so that your left hand can now rest against the inside of your calf and your right arm points towards the ceiling.

Turn your head so that you are looking in the direction of your right arm and take several deep breaths.

Then, inhale and straighten your body followed by an exhale as you lower your arms to your hips.

Pivot on your heels and face forward once more. Then, repeat this movement on the right side of your body .

Dog and Cat - The Dog and Cat movements are very popular exercises because they extend your spine fully in two different directions.

This extension will stretch every cartilage disc in your spinal column. While these are typically two separate movements, we are combining them together so that your body can get the maximum flexibility and height gain.

Dog And Cat - Gain Height Through Yoga

You will begin the exercise on your hands and knees with your hands slightly ahead of your shoulders and knees hip width apart. Inhale and tilt your pelvis up and curve your spine so that your stomach drops towards the ground and your head is up.

Fully stretch your body, but gently, and then move into the cat position by reversing the curve of your spine.

You should finish with your pelvis down and chest and stomach in. Move your body through this movement fluidly, repeating the full cycle many times .

These three exercises are a very good start to beginning a well-planned exercise regiment. However, if you want to learn more about how to gain height using yoga techniques and other related exercises, you should check out the ebook, Grow Taller 4 Idiots.
